My Everyday Autumn Make Up Look..

Hello there Everyone,

I hope you are all well and having a great week so far.

I thought I would share with you guys my autumn make up routine, this is a look that i have been absolutely loving just lately and i tend to wear this look everyday. I may change up the eye shadow to alter it slightly but for now I'm loving how i wear it.

So lets begin :)

Starting with the base first of all -

Primer: if you are blessed with normal well behaved skin then feel free to skip this step but seen as i have the most oily skin on record I need this.
The primer i use is the gosh prime and set powder and honestly this is the best primer i have ever used it keeps my oil away literally all day - you can get this at Superdrug for £9.99.
It is a white powder but it sweeps on the face easily and it doesn't leave any powder on the surface of your face. Only a little bit of this is needed as it tends to go a long way.
This primer does a fantastic job of minimizing pores. I cannot say enough good about this primer - it would be good for all skin types i feel but if you have particularly oily skin i would definitely recommend this.

Foundation: For me it has to be Rimmel - I have 3 foundations and they are all Rimmel - for me these are just so nice to wear.
They don't fade or go patchy they don't go cakey or streaky and most importantly they don't feel heavy.
This Rimmel 25hr full coverage foundation is no exception. It is full coverage but it is made with serum so it has a nice lightweight feel to it and it blends really well, My skin always feels hydrated with this foundation so no fear of dryness.
Oh yeah did i mention it is also sweat proof, humidity proof AND transfer proof? Overall i love this foundation very comfortable to wear and at £7.99 a bottle who's complaining??
A quick personal note - My sister idolizes her high end make up range and she is a massive lover of clinique - she has actually ditched it and swapped to this.. impressive no?

So with our base firmly in place, i do my eyes next and this is my FAVORITE part. I have been getting the use out of my me me me dew pots lately.
I use silk dusk for a base (right shade on photo) and autumn smolder (left shade on photo) to blend through the crease and corner of the eyes.

These dew pots are a cream consistency they go on nice and smooth and they feel soft and silky when on the eyes.
What i will say however is i find it easier - A LOT easier to apply these colors with my finger rather than a brush as they can clump together on a brush - also add the color gradual and build the color slowly - it is worth taking the time with these dew pots as the finished look is gorgeous!

Next i apply eyeliner pencil to my waterline i use Rimmel scandaleyes in the shade nude - i feel this makes the eyes look more awake and brightens them.
For mascara i'm using Rimmel - wake me up mascara in black. This is a nourishing mascara that separates and lengthens lashes with no clumping - also the cucumber extract leaves lashes soft so you don't get a rigid chalky effect when it's dry - smells like cucumber too.

Next I go in with a blusher - I love Make up revolution at the moment too that is a purse friendly brand that does amazing make up. A definite favorite of mine. I use the shade Love which is a gorgeous pink shade. I apply this to my cheek apples. On the top of the cheek bones i apply Make up revolutions baked highlighter in peach lights - this is an ultimate favorite of mine such a gorgeous shimmer - i will continue to repurchase this again and again.
I use make up revolutions brow kit in light / medium also :)

Finally we finish on the lips - I tend to get really dry lips so before any color goes on these lips i always apply a generous amount of Vaseline in aloe vera.
and for lipstick i have Rimmel Kate Moss lipstick in the shade 107 shown below..

Somehow I feel the photo swatch does not do this lipstick justice at all as on the photo it looks a pink / red shade when in fact it is more of a deep red / berry shade perfect for autumn - it may be the natural color of my lips but this shade comes out as a deep red on me and i love it. I love Kate Moss lipsticks anyway as they wear really well, I don't tend to get color bleed and they feel smooth on the lips and they don't dry out.

I hope you guys enjoyed this post. What are your autumn favorite looks?

Have a great week :)
