New Make Up Purchases..

Hello Everyone I hope you are all having a good week so far, I am very much looking forward to the first of many free weekends from work :)

I thought I would talk to you all about my recent purchases from Boots!

I love to swap around my make up every now and a gain... more than likely out of curiosity

I have been pondering over using a primer for a while due to having oily skin and noticeable pores so as I am a fan of Rimmel I decided to try their Lasting finish primer and as it says on the tube - extends the wear of foundation for 8 hours and after using this primer for a few days I have to say that I am really impressed by it. The primer itself is like a moisturiser so it doesn't dry out the skin it feels light and leaves skin soft and pores look much smaller and it does a fantastic job at keeping oil away! hurrah! this primer is the total package.

To team with the primer I purchased Rimmel lasting 25 hour foundation - now there are two types a light coverage and a full coverage. I purchased the full coverage as my skin has been misbehaving lately and I don't like my spots and blemishes showing! The thing that actually made me buy this is the fact that it is transfer proof - which I thought was genius and trust me guys this foundation does not budge no oil no grease nothing - on the back it states

'full coverage foundation enriched with a comfort serum. Instant perfect coverage that feels extra comfortable and lasts all day. Sweat, heat humidity and transfer proof for up to 25 hours. Coverage that won't let you down'

It is without a doubt my favourite foundation I have ever used, I cannot recommend this enough!

Next up we have something for the lips... Bourjois colour boost lip crayons, I love these lip crayons, and I have raved about them in the past, the result is colourful moisturised lips. I practically lived in the peach on the beach shade last summer and now I am over the moon at these two new shades, one is (surprise, surprise) a bright pink shade named very aptly Pinking of it. Then a lovely nude shade proudly naked which is my everyday shade for the office. These will be a constant repurchase for me and maybe one day I'll own all the shades! Definitely recommend these they have a little shimmer but nothing too over the top well done Bourjois!

I love my nail polish! I have used Barry M gelly nail polish and have been really impressed by it as with a top coat my polish has been known to last for 4 to 5 days which I think is pretty amazing especially as I work on a keyboard all day! So cue the newest Barry M nail polish.... Speedy quick dry. Let me say that first of all the bottles are just awesome - I happen to be a formula one fan so as the bottle lid is done out in the flag design it was a winner for me, secondly I am not the most patient person when it comes to waiting for nail polish to dry so the fact that it says speed dry also attracted me. Now onto the colours these are perfect spring colours they have gone right across the pastel spectrum from white to blues and lilacs and pinks all so pretty I had to stop myself purchasing all of them. So I was very good and managed to come away with two shades. Eat my dust is a pastel blue shade and Lap of honour is a lilac shade, I chose these as they are different from every other shade I currently own, The brush itself is flat which makes it so much easier to sweep on with no mess.. always a bonus and the quick dry does exactly as it says.. I do hope they add more shades to this collection for different seasons.

And finally we have the old favourite Batiste tropical dry shampoo which I think just about everyone has purchased and repurchased it is the queen of all dry shampoo in my eyes, and this one is my favourite fragrance too!

So I hope you guys enjoy the post, let me know if you have tried any of the products and what your thoughts are, I love hearing from you guys.

Emz xoxo
